Solar Panels

Solar panels come in many sizes and performance characteristics. There are today two main types of solar panels, crystalline and so called thin film panels. The crystalline panels can be based on mono- or multi crystalline solar cells. The thin film panels based on solar cells made from various types of semiconductor absorber material. The most promising technologies today are CIGS (Copper Indium Gallium Selinide) and CdTe (Cadmium Telluride). Getek International can supply certified solar panels from 10 Watt up to 230 Watt.

Wind Generators

In areas with wind resources wind generators can supply large amounts of electricity. Depending on the wind, a wind generator can produce electricity 24/7. Contrary to what many believe too much wind is often a challenge in operating wind generators. Getek International supplies robust and well tested wind turbines which have been tested in extreme winds in the North Atlantic. Getek International can supply turbines from 60 Watt up to 15 kW. We also have vertical shafted wind turbines.

Battery Installations

In order to have uninterrupted electricity supply in stand alone solar installations a battery installation is required. A battery installation can consist of one battery or a number of batteries in a battery bank. Batteries for solar and wind power installations have other technical characteristics than regular start batteries for cars and come in many sizes and types. Getek International supplies batteries and ready made battery banks composed of batteries from top range battery suppliers.

Charging Controllers

It is of outmost importance that the charging of the battery installation is done correctly. If not there is a risk that the battery installation can be destroyed. Getek International offers a range of charging controllers of high quality for all kind of battery installations.

Inverters

Inverters transform the current from the battery installation from DC power to AC power and supply the load with 230 V AC power which is the normal electricity people use. Getek International can provide certified inverters form a number of leading brands.

Generators

Sometimes our customers requires a generator with other technical characteristics than the standard mass-produced generators available in the market. Getek Installation can deliver custom made generators according to our customer’s requirements. Getek International can also supply you with mass-produced generators from leading brands.
